B737-800/900 Air Conditioning Packs
Two Air Conditioning Packs provide
conditioned air from the main bleed air ducts
for pressurization and temperature control.
Bleed air enters the packs through the Pack
Valves.

Temperature is controlled by three zone
temperature selectors. The packs produce an
air temperature that satisfies the zone
requiring the most cooling. Zone temperature
is controlled by introduction of the proper
amount of "Trim" air to the zone supply ducts.
The left electronic controller controls the aft
cabin zone and provides backup control for
the flight deck. The right controller controls the
forward cabin zone and provides primary
control for the flight deck.
