High Altitude Landing
Option - High Altitude Landing System
When the high altitude landing system is engaged and the actual landing altitude is set, the
controller brings the cabin altitude to the landing airport elevation when the descent mode
is activated. Upon departure from a high altitude airport, the system returns to normal
operation as the cabin descends through 8,000 feet.
